Christopher Burnett

Christopher BurnettChristopher’s area of focus is primarily litigation including criminal defense work, family law, juvenile law and divorce. Christopher has litigated both jury and bench trials.

Christopher attended and graduated from Michigan State University with a BA in Finance from the Eli Broad Business School. During his studies he was a member of the Finance Society and also the Vice President of the MSU snowboard club.

Christopher graduated from Michigan State University College of Law in December 2004. While at law school he was a member of the Entertainment and Sports Law Society. Passed the July 2005 Michigan Bar Exam and was sworn in to the bar in November 2005.

Upon bar admittance Christopher came to work at Burnett & Kastran, P.C. in Allegan, MI. He has attended numerous seminars and workshops since taking his current position.

Christopher is currently the Vice President of the Allegan County Bar Association, after serving one term as the Secretary / Treasurer.

Christopher is involved in the community of Allegan by being involved with various boards and committees.
